Chairman -- S.S.ALAM

Mr. Alam is Chairman of Grahak Duniya e-mall Pvt. Ltd. He is a Post Graduate in Management from IIM Ahmedabad ’76, and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur ’74.

He brings to the table 40 years of rich experience in the industry covering FMCG, Textiles, Electronics, CPG products, plastics, and tyres, apart from Petrochemicals, Metals & Minerals, and Management Consultancy/Organizational-Transformation.

Mr. Alam has a flair for taking up some of the most difficult assignments -- be it handling of very strong militant unions, setting business from basics, or supporting the promoters in difficult turnaround cases. In return God blessed him with most promising designations including Sr. VP, Executive VP, Corporate President, the last being Group Director (MD scale), & elected Chairman of Group Management Committee of a $5bn FMCG / CPG conglomerate operating out of 42 countries and covering 19 businesses.

Had a chance to handle quite a few Corporate functions including HR, Total Quality Movement, Strategy, Sales, Knowledge Mgt., Improvement Mgt., Corp. Communication ( quite a few times 3-4 Corporate functions at the same time), apart from new business creation from scratch. One of the pride project was to handle (as a part of global steering committee), a very large footprint of ERP project worth $25 million, which Oracle claims to be one of their largest footprints worldwide.

Mr. Alam is also Co-Founder & Chairman of “BRAINS at WORK Pvt. Ltd.” which is into strategic consulting space with 20 very well- known friends as co-founders with similar background of IIT/IIM/ foreign qualifications with an MNC Consulting company as collaborator. This team’s expertize will also be available on call for any new business venture.

Managing Director -- Mehmood Khan

Mr. Khan is Managing Director of “Grahak Duniya e-mall Pvt. Ltd.” He is also founder Member of “BRAINS at WORK Pvt.Ltd” which is a group co in strategic consulting space. He is a post graduate in Management from IIM Ahmedabad -77 batch and has around 40 years of vast experience in FMCG and consumer products in India and abroad.

From 1982 Mr. Khan had been with Unilever worldwide where he served in various international capacities in Holland, Singapore, UK, India and several countries for 27 years including 11 years (1998-2009) as the ‘global leader of innovation process’- at Unilever , London.

He has been ‘Regional Market Development Controller’ for Unilever Singapore and ‘Manager Pioneer Market’ for Unilever International. He has pioneered new Unilever businesses in places like Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia and North Korea, along with developing new portfolio in China and other countries in East Asia. He was nominated as “Person of the Year “by Forbes India and accorded “Bharat Samman” award for 2011 by NRI Institute.

Chief Executive Officer -- Vineet Pandey

Mr. Vineet Pandey is CEO of “Grahak Duniya e-Mall Pvt. Ltd”. He is also Director & Founder Member of “BRAINS at WORK Pvt. Ltd.”.

A very dynamic consultant having Masters in Strategic Management from Cass Business School, City University London. He is merit holder with distinction and among top five percentile of the batch throughout his career. He is also B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

He has deep understanding of consulting space, Strategy Analysis Frameworks, Strategic Map, Innovation Frameworks, Employer Branding Frameworks, Product Portfolio Management, and Balanced Score Card. Apart from this he has sound knowledge of M&A concepts as Identification of Targets, Due Diligence, Valuation, Negotiation, Active & Defensive Strategies, Post Merger Integration, Post Acquisition Review.

UNILEVER Latin America – HPC Division / Bogotá, Colombia---Vice-President, HPC Marketing & Marketing Services Director, Andina & Central America--2006 - 2008.

Was responsible for 11 countries in Central America and Andina overseeing product sales of $500 m per annum. Managed a team of 30 direct reports with an advertising budget of $100m. Achieved record market shares in Hair, Deodorants, Body Care, Skin Cleansing and Face Care across the region. Increased innovation rate from just 5 new products in 2005 to 41 in 2008.

UNILEVER PLC Global – HPC Division / London, United Kingdom Global Category Director, Skin Care & Skin Cleansing 2002 – 2006

Responsible for coordinating all international businesses- innovation, demand planning and capacity, marketing and brand development talent activity for Skin Care, Body Care and Skin Cleansing with annual global sales of $7.3bn. Brands included Dove, Lux, Pond’s Cream, Vaseline, Lifebuoy, Lever 2000 and Suave.

Senior Advisor -- Amit Roy

Mr. Roy is Senior Advisor to “Grahak Duniya e-mall Pvt. Ltd.” He is also founder Member of “BRAINS at WORK Pvt. Ltd.”

Mr. Amit Roy has a B. Tech (hons) from IIT, Kharagpur having over 40 years of success in varied industries including FMCG, Pharma, Speciality Chemicals, Infrastructure, Metals/Minerals and Service Sector.

He was for 16 years with Dabur in various enriching multi-functional responsibilities in India and overseas at Senior Management and Board level. He was COO of the technically innovative Electro Steel Casting Limited, Kolkata. He worked in Pidilite Industries Ltd. as Director Factories’ Operations. He has worked for Tootal Plc’s Indian operations and worked as Chief Executive of their JV in Kuala Lumpur. He also worked as President at Chryso India, a 100% subsidiary of a leading French worldwide player operating in 4 businesses - admixtures, aluminates, mortars and painting.

Mr. Viswanathan is Senior Advisor to “Grahak Duniya e-mall Pvt. Ltd.” He is also founder Member of “BRAINS at WORK Pvt. Ltd.”

G Viswanathan is Chartered and a Cost Accountant who received his training from Price Waterhouse Cooper. His experience spans around 40 years both in India and abroad covering diverse industry segments like FMCG companies, water treatment, infrastructure, Construction and EPC.

His expertise spreads over Business and Strategic planning, Financial Management, Marketing and Operations. Throughout his eventful career, he served in very senior positions including Group CFO, President and Director.
